Brakes and Suspension

Brakes, Suspension and Steering Repairs

The parts that stop you and keep you pointed straight — brakes, shocks, bushes, steering and alignment.

Brake and suspension wear is gradual, so most people only notice it once stopping distances have already grown. Pads, discs, shocks and bushes are measured against spec rather than replaced on a hunch.

Steering and alignment go with it: a pull to one side or uneven tyre wear is usually geometry or a worn joint, and fixing the joint before the alignment is the only way it stays fixed.

Common symptoms

What you notice, and what it usually means

A symptom narrows it down. Testing confirms it — we do not replace parts on a guess.

  • Squeal or grinding when braking

Pads at their limit, or already into the disc.

  • Pedal pulsing under braking

    Warped or unevenly worn discs.

  • Pulling to one side

Alignment, a sticking caliper or a worn arm or bush.

  • Clonks over bumps

Shocks, top mounts, bushes or anti-roll bar links.

  • Uneven or feathered tyre wear

Alignment out, or a worn steering or suspension joint.

How it runs

The repair process

  1. 01

    Inspect and measure

Pad and disc thickness, shock condition, play in joints and bushes.

  2. 02

    Road test

Braking, tracking and noise checked under real conditions.

  3. 03

    Quote

Only what is worn, with the measurements to back it up.

  4. 04

    Replace

Fitted, torqued and bedded in correctly.

  5. 05

    Align and confirm

Geometry set after the repair, then tested again.

What People Say

Real feedback from BritzTech customers.

5 out of 5 stars
“Heinro doesn’t simply replace parts and hope for the best. He has a deep understanding of how engines and mechanical systems work, what causes failures, and how to properly diagnose and resolve the underlying problem. He took the time to identify the issues, explain what was happening and make sure the vehicle was properly attended to.”
