Engine Repairs, Overhauls and Reconditioning
Engine work from diagnosis to a rebuilt, measured and properly assembled engine — petrol or diesel, in Benoni and up to 100 km around it.
An engine problem is either a small repair caught early or a big bill left late. We start by measuring and reading the engine rather than guessing: compression and leak-down where needed, live data on the scan tool, oil and coolant condition, and a proper look for leaks and overheating history.
From there the work can be as simple as a timing kit or oil-leak repair, or as involved as a full strip, machining, measurement and rebuild. Reconditioned engines and engine replacements are also available where a rebuild is not the sensible route.

Vehicles: Bakkies, SUVs, passenger cars, vans, performance cars and fleet vehicles — petrol or diesel. Ford Ranger and Everest 2.2 and 3.2, Toyota Hilux and Quantum are common jobs, but we work on a broad range of makes and models.
Reconditioned Ranger and Everest engines: 2.2 from R16,500 and 3.2 from R19,500. All other engine work is quoted once the fault is confirmed.

White smoke, sweet smell or coolant disappearing
Usually head gasket, cylinder head or cracked liner territory.
Temperature gauge climbing in traffic
Thermostat, water pump, radiator, fan or a blocked system.
Knocking or rattling that changes with revs
Bearing, timing chain or tensioner wear — stop driving it.
Oil use with no visible leak
Rings, valve guides or turbo seals letting oil through.
Power gone and smoke on boost
Turbo, injectors, boost leaks or restricted exhaust flow.
